Employee Notices Delayed
- The federal government has delayed the March 1, 2013 mandate that requires employers to notify employees about their health care coverage options, including information regarding the existence of a health insurance exchange, it’s services, and contact information. The new deadline is expected to be sometime this summer to prepare for the opening of the exchange on October 1, 2013. [Announced January 2013]
